After much anticipation, Hype Park Krakow finally opened its doors in May 2021, and to a thunderous response. The opening night alone saw a long line of hopefuls waiting for hours to be let inside. And that was just the start!
Here’s everything you need to know about Krakow’s coolest live music and events space:
Hype Park: Newcomer on the Krakow nightlife scene
With the eventual and somewhat inevitable close of Dolnych Mlynow in 2020, Krakow’s nightlife was crying out for something new and exciting to fill the void.
Forum, just along the Vistula river from Wawel castle, is already well known to Krakow’s partygoers and foodies alike. It plays host to regular techno parties and events, as well as Hala Forum- street food trucks. But that’s only one place.
Krakow Old Town is of course very traditional (and very busy), which really only leaves Kazimierz. Which is wonderfully alternative and filled with great bars, but also increasingly busy these days.
Enter Hype Park. A new, huge outdoor events space to give a much needed boost to Krakow’s alternative nightlife scene.
Brought to you by the people behind Fabryka club in Zabłocie, Hype Park will eventually be expanded to 5000 square metres of food, fun & live music.

The Best Krakow Street Food
Along with Krakow’s already thriving street food scene, Hype park arrives with its very own choice of food trucks.
Food options include:
Molam: Thai Canteen. This popular Thai place will be serving up the flavours of Bangkok to partygoers every weekend.
Mazaya– the falafel restaurant dotted in various locations around the city and very popular, particularly with non-meat eating foodies.
Funky Zapiekanky, a fun twist on the classic Polish breads found at Plac Nowy.
Popular Krakow burger restaurant M22 have also pitched up with a food truck.
And Taqueria, tasty Mexican street food brought to you from the people behind everyone’s favourite Krakow mexican restaurant, Poco Loco.

Is Alcohol served?
Yes! And in abundance. There are several different bars serving beers, both indoors and out. There is an indoor Jagermeister bar inside one of the main tents and even an Aperol bar for those fruity summer cocktails.

Hype Park Events and Live Music
The premier reason for Hype Park’s arrival, just in time for summer of 2021, is (predominantly) as an outdoor arts and entertainment venue, showcasing live music DJs and a line-up of great events each weekend.
The party kicked off with Discorama, the first of Hype Park’s summer events. This will be followed each weekend with new and exciting shows. There is a changing line-up of musicians and DJ’s every weekend- some of which are yet to be announced. Some events are ticketed, while others are free entry. Check Hype Park’s Facebook page for the latest events or try ticketmaster for ticketed shows.
The area includes bars, chill out zones and food. There are also plans to expand the old industrial warehouse space, to include more permanent indoor areas as well as out.

Which days is Hype Park Krakow open?
Hype Park already opened it’s doors in May 2021 and will remain open for the summer. However, events are predominantly weekend affairs, and most weeks the venue will only be open from Thursday- Saturday (evenings from 6pm only).
This newly opened Krakow arts and events space is sure to become a huge Krakow favourite. In fact, it already is.
With festivals and events all over Europe, cancelled in 2021 due to COVID, Krakow’s very own summer festival space might well be able to fill the void.
