Where to find the best breakfast in Krakow
Ranny Ptaszek
Augustiańska Street 5 | Breakfasts served from 9:00 till 16:00
Which in English is called an Early Bird – that’s my number one in Krakow! Ranny Ptaszek is a cute little corner spot in Kazimierz, which you can visit on your way to explore Jewish Quarter. Delicious breakfast menu! The food made with love by the mom and daughter team. Do not worry if you are a sleepyhead, they serve breakfasts till 16:00. Scrambled eggs, Hungarian sausage, patatas bravas, hummus, good coffee and banana bread – vegan options are available as well. And their shakshouka is absolutely incredible! Undoubtedly one of our top picks for the best breakfast in Krakow.
Charlotte
Szczepański Square 2 | Breakfasts served from 7:00 till 24:00, on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00
French-style bistro on the map of Krakow. Located a few steps from the Main Square in Plac Szczepanski, which is a very cultural, entertaining meeting point. If you are a fan of home-made jams, marmalades, freshly baked croissants – you would be more than happy. The menu includes different bread types with butter or chocolate spreads – white chocolate spread topped with raspberry jam is amazing! Great way to start your city exploration in style. Oh, and remember to order cappuccino, you won’t be disappointed.
Veganic
Dolnych Młynów Street 10 Breakfasts are served from 10:00 till 13:00, on Saturday till 14:00
Delicious veggie and vegan breakfasts! The interior is bright and well-decorated and they have a big terrace. In their menu you can find oatmeal with caramelised pear, snickers cake, omelettes or bagels. Raspberry/blueberry lemonade is awesome and if you are a coffee lover, you should go for latte with oat milk. As a dessert, a good choice would be a white chocolate mousse – it is so delicate and feels like a cloud in your mouth. And it is served with red peppers which is quite unusual. The food is beautifully served. Just come here and see for yourself!
