How it works
Join City Walks Krakow for our award-winning Krakow Walking Tours. Our free tours are free to join and are contributions based. Our hardworking and dedicated guides earn money from tips. If you enjoy yourself, be sure to leave something at the end of the tour. The great thing about free tours is you can decide for yourself at the end how much you are happy to pay.
Krakow Free Walking Tour: Meeting Point
To join our Old Town and Jewish Quarter Free Walking tours, meet us every day in front of St Mary’s Basilica in the Krakow Main Square. Look out for our guides with the Blue Umbrellas.
Guests can feel free to show up for our free tours, but we recommend you to reserve your spot for free, using the booking section below. Info on all of our other tours can be found on the Free Tours and Paid Tours tabs at the top of this page.

From June 19th 2021 we are back running our award-winning Krakow free walking tours.
It’s been a long road to get here but we are thrilled to be able to offer tours to our guests again.
From the 19th of June, we will run our Krakow Old Town free tour (11am) and our Jewish quarter Krakow free tour every day (15:30).
However, COVID-19 isn’t gone for good. Please help us to make sure our guests are kept safe. Guests joining our tours are welcome to wear face masks for the safety of yourself and others around you. However this isn’t compulsory in Poland.
Where possible, maintain a safe distance from others around you, and our guides will do everything they can to avoid any crowds.
To ensure your place on the Free Walking tour Krakow, we recommend booking in advance for free, through our website. Booking isn’t compulsory, but it guarantees your place. Scroll up to the ‘How to book’ section of this page.
If you have concerns over joining our regular group tours, we recommend to try and arrange a private tour with us. Alternatively, download our- ‘Historic Krakow: Old Town & Castle Krakow audio tour‘ – and be guided around the city using your phone.
